Bartels Family Sukkot 2002 Decorating the Sukkah
Sukkot may be built using old blankets and drapes. The sukkah often is decorated with fruits, vegetables, Israeli flags, Bible verses, or other symbols.
Bartels Boys Candle Lighting
The boys are pleased with the results of their labor. The woman lights the candles in the beginning of the service. Notice the fruit basket, song book, and liturgy to the right of the altar. The large X is a 6M quad loop antenna.
Feline Visitor Fixing the Sukkah
Sometimes a "special visitor" attends the family service. The candles are reused from Passover. After being up for a few days the sukkah needs repair.
